Replacement of Intake and Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Before installing the manifolds with new gaskets, ensure there are no deformations on the manifold flange: use a straight bar and a feeler gauge; check for any residue on the gasket seat at the cylinder head; then apply the new gasket (it is metal to withstand the high temperatures of exhaust gases), the intake manifold complete with EGR valve, the exhaust manifold, and tighten the fixing nuts using a properly calibrated torque wrench.
