Positioning the Vehicle on Axle Stands

Before lifting the vehicle, ensure that the axle stands provided are suitable for the weight of the vehicle: there is usually a label indicating the maximum load capacity. Once you are certain that the axle stands can support the weight, lift the vehicle with a jack, positioning it under a reinforcement rib beneath the sill; always position the stand under a rib, adjust its height, lock it in this position, and lower the jack so that the car rests on the axle stand.
