Replacing the Intake Manifold Gasket

When reassembling an engine, for example after dismantling to replace the cylinder head gasket, it is good practice to replace all gaskets: there is a so-called gasket kit available commercially, which includes all the gaskets for the engine. The intake manifold gaskets are actually four silicone rings that resemble elastics and must be inserted into the appropriate grooves corresponding to the intake ducts of the manifold itself; once the gaskets are seated, attach the manifold to the cylinder head and tighten the fixing bolts with a torque wrench.
