How to Replace the Headlight Bulbs on Renault Clio 2

With the engine off and the handbrake engaged, open the bonnet. Never touch the glass of the bulbs with bare hands.

To replace the indicator bulb, rotate its tab counterclockwise and pull it out from the housing. To remove the bulb from the holder, push it and twist to release it from the housing.

Insert the new bulb into the holder and refit the holder into the headlight. To replace the H7 bulb of the dipped beam, remove the outer rubber cover from the housing, grasp the black connector and pull it out from the bulb socket.

Check the position of the bulb tab, then remove it by wiggling it side to side while pulling. Fit the new bulb ensuring the tab is in the same position as the old bulb, reconnect the bulb connector in the housing, and replace the rubber cover.

The cover for the main beam and position light is the innermost one; remove the cover from the housing, disconnect the connector, and press the sides of the clip to release the bulb. Fit the new bulb in the correct position in the holder, secure the clip by pressing it in, and reconnect the power.

To replace the position bulb, pull it out, remove the bulb from the holder, and replace it. Insert the position light holder back into the housing and replace the rubber protective cover.
