Renault Megane - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Megane Megane 2 - Years 2002-2010
Part: Brake pads
Operation: How to change front brake pads on Renault Megane II

Let's see how to easily change the brake pads on Renault Megane II: let's start by opening the brake fluid reservoir cap. We will have to remove the front wheels and raise the car, so let's get jack stands to support the car securely, and put the tires under the car for safety. Leverage the caliper to remove it, in order to retract the piston. Then remove the outer spring. Remove the caps from the stud screw, then remove them; remove the caliper and take off the pads. Secure the caliper to the suspension spring with a piece of string so as not to damage the brake hose. With a wire brush, clean the pad holder well. Now grease the outside of the new pads with copper grease, which you can now reposition. Put the caliper back in place by pushing the two stud bolts. Replace the two caps, then reassemble the pad spring. You can put the wheel back. Repeat on the other side. Remember to screw the brake fluid cap back on. Operation finished.

How to reset the service in the Opel Antara?

As we can see in this tutorial, resetting the service in the Opel Antara is an extremely simple and fast operation. Before proceeding, of course, we must have completed all the planned maintenance work. We start by inserting the key but leaving it in the initial position, after which we keep the accelerator pedal fully depressed and at the same time turn on the instrument panel, not the engine. At this point, we release the accelerator and press it 3 consecutive times, always all the way. We then restart the panel to verify that the procedure has been carried out correctly.
