How to Reset the Service Light on a Renault Clio III

When your Renault Clio asks you to perform a service, meaning to change the oil and filters, do not underestimate this request; you must comply as it is for your safety and that of others. Once you have completed the service, and only then, you can reset the light, and it is a very simple operation: get into the vehicle and close all four doors, then turn the key to position 1. You will operate with the control on the right side of the steering wheel. Scroll through the menu using the "up" button until you reach the service option. Now hold down the "down" button until the message starts to flash. At this point, you can release the button, and the menu will indicate that there are no services due. To turn off the spanner light, now hold down the "up" button until the next service interval appears on the screen, and the spanner light will go out. You can now turn off the ignition and then turn it back on to ensure everything is in order.
