How to Replace the Rear Brake Pads on a Renault Clio III

In this video, learn how to change the rear brake pads on a Renault Clio III: open the bonnet and the brake fluid reservoir. You will need to lift the vehicle using two axle stands and remove the rear wheels for easy access. Unlock the brake caliper and remove the bolts from the bracket, allowing the caliper to be free; secure it to the shock absorbers to prevent damage to the flexible hose. Now you can remove the worn pads, clean the bracket with a wire brush, push the piston back, and take the new pads, applying copper grease to the outer side; refit the caliper and then the bolts of the bracket (using the new bolt). Repeat on the other side. Refit the wheels and lower the vehicle. Remember to close the brake fluid reservoir cap. Before using the car, press the brake pedal firmly to bring the pads close to the disc.
