In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a Renault Megane 2, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure that the key is not inserted to work safely.

Start by opening the bonnet, then loosen the bolt of the lower battery bracket with a 13 mm socket spanner. Once done, loosen the nut of the negative terminal, disconnect it, and repeat the process for the positive terminal.

At this point, you can grasp the battery by the designated handle, remove it from the housing, and fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
