How to Reset the Service Light on a Renault Modus

Model: Renault Modus MK 1 - Years 2004-2013

To reset the service light on a Renault Modus, turn on the ignition without starting the engine, press the button at the top of the right end of the wiper stalk until the "service due" screen appears, turn off the ignition, remove the key, reinsert it, and turn on the ignition again without starting the engine; return to the "service due" screen and hold the button at the top of the right end of the wiper stalk until the flashing message "service due" appears, then the flashing message "service in 20,000 miles" and finally, when the mileage stops flashing and the spanner icon to the left of the message turns off, release the button; turn off the ignition, turn it back on, and use the same button to go to the "service due" message to see the new mileage.
