How to Replace the Air Filter on a Renault Scenic II

Model: Renault Scenic MK 2, Scenic 2 - Years 2003-2009

To replace the air filter on the Renault Scenic II, first, remove the fastening of the under-bonnet grille located on the left side using a 10 mm socket spanner. Then, take off the rubber seal and the grille. Next, unscrew the fastening bolts of the protection panel and remove it. Now, unscrew the fastening bolts of the filter cover; once removed, take out the dirty element to be replaced. Clean the housing from dirt and debris with a blast of compressed air. Now, refit the new filter into its housing, screw the cover bolts back in, install the protection panel and tighten the bolts, then install the grille by fastening it to the mounting elements. Replace the rubber seal. Job done.
