Resetting the Service Light on the Renault Clio

Following the engine oil replacement as per the Renault Clio's maintenance schedule, you need to reset the Service light that alerts you to the need for intervention. While seated in the driver's seat, turn on the ignition, and using the two buttons at the top of the windscreen wiper control stalk, select "Service Interval" on the central display. Now press the "Down Arrow" button for ten seconds; a message regarding the maintenance interval will appear. Press and hold the "Down Arrow" button until the time and mileage for the maintenance are displayed. Now press the "Up Arrow" button to select "Oil Change in" and repeat the same procedure: the Service light is now reset.
