Renault Megane II Air Conditioning Problem

One reason the air conditioning compressor does not activate is related to a malfunction of the electromagnetic clutch. The air conditioning compressor pulley is always driven by the auxiliary belt, while the compressor shaft remains stationary. When you want to turn on the air conditioning, the electromagnetic clutch expands to engage the pulley attached to the compressor shaft, thus causing it to rotate and compress the gas circulating in the system. In the case of such a fault, it is usually possible to remedy the situation by purchasing this type of loose replacement rather than the entire compressor.
