How to replace the brake pads on the Renault Megane 3

Model: Renault Megane Megane 3, Megane III - Years 2008-2015
Part: Brake pads

We start the replacement of the brake pads of the Renault Megane 3 by opening the front hood and immediately after the brake fluid cap. We then proceed to remove the rear wheel and lift the car with the jack and stand, in order to have free access to the brake pads. We continue the replacement by unlocking the brake caliper with a 13 socket wrench and removing the bolts of the caliper bracket with a 15 wrench. Using a screwdriver, leverage the caliper and then remove the brake pads. Clean the end of the support with a wire brush. Grease the new brake pads and push the piston in order to insert the new pads. Insert it into the caliper, reposition the caliper and tighten the caliper bracket bolts. Replace the wheel and lower the car. Pour in the new brake oil and close the hood.

How to Replace the Oil Sump on a Ford Focus

Follow these steps to remove and replace the oil sump on a Ford Focus engine. Lift the car on a column lift and (at your preferred height) use a socket wrench to unscrew the sump plug, allowing the oil to drain into a container (for disposal) and then re-screw the plug. Remove all the side plastics protecting the undercarriage using a battery or manual drill, then unscrew the fastening bolts around the perimeter of the oil sump. After removing the bolts from the sump, detach it from the engine block along with the gasket using a screwdriver as leverage. Clean everything and refit the new part.
