How to perform an oil change on the Renault Clio

In this video, we can see how to reset the oil light on the Renault Clio, as the oil change is not registered by the engine control unit and therefore even after replacing the oil, the light remains on. To reset it, first start the instrument panel without starting the engine, then use the arrows on the windshield wiper lever to scroll through the menu until you reach the maintenance interval option. Once you reach this option, press and hold the arrow button for a few seconds to open the menu. Once the menu is open, use the arrow button to scroll through the menu and find the oil option. Once you locate it, press and hold the arrow button to reset it. The text will start flashing to indicate the reset process, and will stop flashing once it is complete.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
