This video shows step by step how to reset the service light on the Renault Modus. The procedure is simple and does not require tools or software.

To reset, first start the instrument cluster, then use the up arrow button on the right side of the steering wheel to scroll through the menu until you find the service option. Once located, hold the arrow button for 20 seconds.

The light will start flashing and then reset to indicate 30,000 kilometres. When the light stops flashing, the reset is complete, and you can release the button and restart the cluster to verify that the procedure was successful.
