The battery that powers the key fob for opening and closing the doors of the Renault Megane will eventually run out with time and use, failing to perform its function. To restore the fob's efficiency, you need to replace the battery.

Take the fob with the buttons facing you, extract the section at the bottom right that contains the metal blade by applying force. This gives you access to the battery compartment, which you can remove and replace with a new CR 2025, ensuring it is inserted with the positive terminal facing up. Reinsert the metal blade into its slot and check that it functions correctly.
