Steering Tie Rod End Replacement

Model: Saab 9 3 MK 2 - Years 2002-2014

Lift the vehicle with a jack, secure it on appropriate axle stands, and remove the front wheel (before lifting the vehicle, loosen the wheel fastening bolts).
Then, unscrew the fastening nut of the tie rod end and use a suitable puller to detach it from the shock absorber (a tap with a hammer may also suffice); next, loosen the rear pin of the tie rod end to unscrew it from the tie rod: count the number of turns to screw it back on the same number to try to maintain the alignment. At this point, fit the new tie rod end: it is advisable to have the alignment checked by a tyre specialist.
