Modern vehicles have computers that assist in vehicle maintenance by reminding the driver of maintenance tasks when the set mileage is reached. To reset the mileage indicator on the on-board computer for the next service, perform the following steps. Turn the ignition key to the start position to power up the dashboard. Enter the "drive information" menu and then the "service" menu by turning the appropriate knob. Access the submenu, then move the cursor to the appropriate icon and press the central button. Turn the key to the off position and then restart the dashboard to check that the indicator shows 00.
