Changing the engine oil and oil filter on a Seat Ibiza is a straightforward task. Start by opening the bonnet and unscrewing the oil filler cap. Next, pour in a cleaner to help drain the liquid and remove any fuel and grease residues.

Continue by lifting the vehicle with a jack and opening the oil sump, removing the bolt with a 19 mm spanner. Once the oil has completely drained, close the sump and remove the oil filter.

To remove the filter, go to the top of the vehicle, and once removed, insert the new one and close the cap. Finish the process by topping up the oil in the reservoir.
