How to remove the EGR valve on a Seat Leon? Start by removing the engine cover, unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe, and remove the engine soundproofing panel. Begin removing the securing pins of the EGR valve as shown in the video. Once the part is detached from its seat, use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws if you wish to clean it. Clean the valve using a suitable mechanical parts cleaner, and use a brush to assist in the process. Install a new EGR valve if the old one is damaged.
