Replacing the Battery on Seat Ibiza

Model: Seat Ibiza 6L - Years 2002-2009

Lift the bonnet and place the support rod. The battery is located on the left side of the vehicle, next to the engine compartment. Using a 13 mm socket and an extension, unscrew the bolt that secures the battery to the lower bracket. Disconnect the rear cover and remove it. At this point, unscrew and then disconnect the terminals: remember to always start with the negative terminal and only then disconnect the positive. Remove the old battery, insert the new one, and reverse the steps until fully reassembled. As you can see, this is a fairly simple operation.
