How to Replace the Fog Light on a Seat Altea

Before discovering how to correctly replace the fog light on the Seat Altea, it is important to take reference points for the position of the light so that you can quickly restore the correct angle and height once the new light is fitted. To do this, turn on the headlights in front of a flat surface (such as a wall) and mark the various reference points with a pencil. Next, using a cross-head screwdriver, unscrew the screw located at the bottom of the grille containing the fog light and remove the grille itself. Also unscrew the screws holding the light in place and remove it, being careful to disconnect it from its connector. At this point, simply replace the bulb and reassemble everything correctly.
