Replacement of the Skoda Octavia remote control battery

When the battery that powers the remote control that opens and closes the doors of the Skoda Octavia runs out, we must replace it. To do this, we press the button and release the metal blade, using a screwdriver with a blade we pry in the empty slot and open the back of the shell to access the battery compartment. With a small screwdriver, we remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR2025, being careful to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. We close the back shell by pressing until we hear a locking click.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
