Below is the procedure to disassemble and replace the battery of the Skoda Octavia key remote. First, take the remote and start by removing the rear cover, prying it off the sides (using something thin if necessary); then remove the old battery from the remote, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new battery of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it in the correct orientation and refit the cover, applying the reverse procedure!
