To replace the alternator on a Škoda Octavia, lift the car with a jack so that the front right wheel is removed from its housing. Once the wheel is removed, proceed to remove the alternator by loosening all the screws that secure it to the corresponding mounts.

After also removing the belt, you can insert the new replacement part into the engine bay: the new alternator must be secured using the appropriate screws and reposition the belt to ensure everything functions correctly.
