How to reset the service light on a Skoda Octavia II

In this video, we will see how to reset the service light on a Skoda Octavia II: it is the most common method, using the button located on the dashboard. The car must be off, and without inserting the keys into the ignition, press the "0.0 set" button located at the bottom right of the speedometer. Without releasing the button, insert the key and turn it to position 1, just to turn on the instrument panel; do not start the engine. After about 5 to 10 seconds, the display will show the message "do you want to reset the service?" Release the button and then press it again briefly to confirm. The service light will turn off, and the display will show a series of dashes "------" or the new service date.
