How to Adjust the Brake Pads on a Skoda Octavia

Have the brake pads on your Skoda Octavia reached the end of their life? Here’s how to change them at the rear. Lift the vehicle on a column lift to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a socket spanner or air drill) with the respective pins. Dismantle the brake caliper, removing it from the wheel hub support. Use a screwdriver to remove the pads from the wheel hub caliper. Fit the new pads onto the brake caliper. Refit the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc, tighten all the pins, and refit the wheel. Test the vehicle's braking.
