Operation: ABS sensor fault warning light comes on

If the warning light relating to the ABS system remains on on the instrument panel display, it means that there is a fault and that the system is not working at the moment: to find out the cause of the problem, a diagnostic check must first be carried out to identify the fault code memorized by the control unit (any diagnostic tool is fine). In this case the detected fault code refers to a fault in the speed sensor on the right rear wheel. Then proceed with the disassembly of the wheel and the drum. Evaluate the nature of the fault: there are actually residues on the toothed wheel from which the sensor detects the speed: therefore carefully clean both the toothed wheel and the sensor seat. After cleaning, install the new sensor and clear the fault memory.
