To replace the battery of the Skoda Octavia remote control, we begin by pushing the dedicated button to release the key blade; we insert a plastic tool between the two shells to leverage them apart; once the two shells are separated, we take the shell with the buttons and insert the plastic tool between the upper and lower shell to separate them as well; once the two shells are separated, in the shell without the circuit board, we find the battery which we remove by applying leverage from below; after removing the old battery, we take the new battery, place it in the same way as the old one, connect the shell with the battery to the one with the circuit board, and connect the shell with the buttons to the one with the key; finally, once the remote control is fully assembled, we can check the proper functioning of the battery.

How to replace the Ford Transit key battery

Below I will explain how to replace the remote control key battery on the car, take a small screwdriver and pry the rear part of the remote control, (where there is the ring), at which point unhook the back cover and yes will have access to the compartment containing the battery. Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the back cover by re-hooking it to the key.
