Removing Air Fan on Smart Fortwo

Is the air fan on your Smart Fortwo damaged? Not working? Here's how to remove it. Use a lever to remove the plastics under the dashboard on the steering wheel side. Unscrew the securing screws of the fan with a screwdriver. Disconnect the power connector, then pull it out from the cabin. Insert a new air fan (connect the power connector). Refit all the covering plastics. Start the vehicle and test the operation of the air fan. If it does not work, check the connections made earlier.
