The guide shows how to replace the sidelights on the Smart 451. After removing the battery and the antenna, the compartment cover and front bumper can be removed. Once the light has been removed, you can proceed with the installation of the position lights, locking the cables in the appropriate grips and bringing the cables to the control unit under the steering wheel. Connect the ground wire to the chassis of the vehicle. From inside the vehicle it is necessary to make a new connection on the light connector, bring the cable of the new lights into position. Make the electrical connections in order to make the lights work correctly and install the lights in the right position. Refit the bumper, the front compartment cover and the antenna. Reconnect the battery cable and test for proper operation before setting off.
