Removing the Boot Lock on Smart Cabrio

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015

Remove the side protections of the boot, which are simply secured by a torx screw, then pull them out using a flat screwdriver. On the sides of the small tailgate, there are two catches that secure it via the central locking mechanism. Remove these catches by unscrewing the two fixing bolts. Lift the rear window and lower the tailgate: make small holes next to the catches as shown in the video, so you can push the catches with a screwdriver. Lift the surface panel to access and unscrew the bolts of the lower boot panel to reach the lock.
