In this video tutorial, you can see how to reset the maintenance service light on a Smart Fortwo produced between 2004 and 2007. First, ensure your vehicle is secure with the handbrake applied, then insert the ignition key and turn it to position 2. Within 4 seconds, press the button located on the side of the dashboard. Scroll through the menu until the maintenance indicator is displayed. At this point, turn off the ignition. Within 10 seconds, press the side button and reinsert the ignition. If the procedure is executed correctly, the new maintenance deadline will be displayed.
