Following these brief and simple instructions, we will see how to reset the maintenance reminder for the engine oil change of the Smart Fortwo. First, get into the car and turn on the instrument panel; then use the arrow controls on the steering wheel to navigate to the service option, as shown in the video.

At this point, press and hold the "ok" button until the reset is complete to confirm and reset the maintenance key, thus restoring the mileage before the next service.
