How to Reset the Oil Warning Light on the Smart ForFour

To reset the oil warning light on the Smart ForFour, turn the ignition on by turning the key. Quickly press the button A located above the dashboard on the left three or four times. Once done, turn off the ignition and then turn it back on. After restarting the ignition, press button A for 10 seconds. If everything has worked correctly, the oil reset has occurred. Now, turn off and then turn on the ignition again to ensure the reset was successful.
