This video shows how the appearance of a spanner icon on the Smart Forfour's dashboard indicates that you are approaching the mileage specified in the maintenance schedule for an engine oil change. After completing all necessary operations, proceed to reset the system that manages the warning.

While seated in the driver's seat, press and hold the button located above the speedometer, turn the key to switch on the dashboard, wait ten seconds, release the button, and switch off the ignition. Upon the next restart, the absence of the icon will confirm the reset.
