In this video, we see how the appearance of a wrench-shaped icon in the Smart Forfour's instrument panel indicates that we are about to reach the mileage specified in the maintenance plan for an oil change. After completing all the necessary steps, we proceed with resetting the system responsible for the notification. Sitting in the driver's seat, we press and hold the button located above the speedometer, turn the key to turn on the instrument panel, wait ten seconds, release the button, and turn off the ignition. Upon restarting, the absence of the icon will confirm the reset.
