How do you replace the steering wheel of the Smart 452?

In order to replace the steering wheel of the Smart 452 you must first disconnect the battery, to prevent the front airbag from activating erroneously. Once the battery has been disconnected, it will be necessary to unscrew the bolts located in the lower part of the steering wheel: these are T40 screws. By loosening these screws, the steering wheel can be detached from its drive shaft, also disconnecting the horn and airbag connectors. At this point, it will be possible to insert the new steering wheel, which must be connected to the connectors and fixed with the appropriate screws.
