How to Replace the Steering Wheel on a Smart 452?

To replace the steering wheel on a Smart 452, first disconnect the battery to prevent the front airbag from deploying accidentally. Once the battery is disconnected, remove the bolts located at the bottom of the steering wheel: these are T40 screws. By loosening these screws, the steering wheel can be detached from its shaft, while also disconnecting the connectors for the horn and airbag. At this point, you can fit the new steering wheel, which must be connected to the connectors and secured with the appropriate screws.
