In today's video, you will learn how to check the oil level in the Smart Fortwo. First, remember to perform this operation with the engine cold for accurate measurement.

Start by opening the rear hatch and removing the cover that conceals the engine. You will now see the unit in front of you. Proceed by extracting the dipstick; clean it and reinsert it. Pull it out again and check the level.

If all is well, you are finished; otherwise, proceed to top up the fluid according to the manufacturer's specifications.
