Spark Plug Replacement on Subaru Forester

Replace the spark plugs on the Subaru Forester if you are experiencing performance issues. Open the engine compartment and lift the bonnet, securing it in place, and disconnect the battery terminals. Remove the soundproofing panel covering the engine, then take out the air filter housing. Using a screwdriver, remove the coils from the cylinder head; then, use a socket wrench to unscrew the spark plugs and pull them out of the head. Take the new spark plugs and guide them into the cylinder head with the extension of the socket wrench, tighten them, and reconnect the power coils to each spark plug. Reinstall the air filter and the soundproofing panel.
