Timing Belt Replacement
Model: Subaru Impreza
MK 2
- Years 2001-2007
First, remove the plastic covers protecting the alternator and auxiliary belt; then loosen the tensioner of the first auxiliary belt to remove it, and subsequently loosen the alternator adjustment to remove the second auxiliary belt. Next, proceed to remove the front radiator: it is advisable to lift the vehicle on a ramp to facilitate disassembly, as the splash guard will also need to be removed to complete the radiator and related sensors and hoses disassembly; place a container to collect the coolant. Before removing the crankshaft pulley, set it to zero regarding the timing, aligning the mark on the back of the pulley with the zero on the graduated marks of the engine block: only after perfectly aligning these marks, unscrew the fixing pins of the pulley and remove it from its seat. Complete the disassembly of the timing covers (two side parts and one central) until the toothed belt is exposed. Perfectly align the timing references, unscrew the tensioner, and slide out the toothed belt. Replace the toothed roller with bearing and the other rollers of the timing chain; replace the water pump (due to the complexity of the disassembly operations, it is preferable to replace it even if it does not leak) and the tensioner. Then apply the new toothed belt, tensioning it properly by adjusting the tensioner; reapply the covers and complete the operation by replacing the auxiliary belts.

How to Replace the Key Battery of the Renault Clio
This operation is very simple and will only take a few minutes. First, divide the two parts of the key by lifting them with a flathead screwdriver at the four clips near the metal key, sliding the upper flap upwards to separate them. This will give you access to the battery located above the key's circuit board. Remove it to make space for the new battery, ensuring you install it in the correct orientation. To reassemble, simply reverse the steps described above. by ScegliAuto More videos
