Instructions for Replacing Wiper Blades

Model: Subaru Outback MK 2, BH, BE - Years 1999-2003

Before proceeding with the replacement of the wiper blades, ensure that the ones you purchased are perfectly compatible by checking the length (generally, the driver's side blade is longer than the passenger's side) and the type of attachment to the wiper arm; then lift the wiper arm, rotate the blade 90 degrees relative to the arm, press on the tab of the locking mechanism, and detach the blade by sliding it downwards; then insert the new blade into the wiper arm, align the locking mechanism with its respective seat, and snap it into place.
