To remove the rear light of the Subaru Forester, open the rear hatch of the vehicle to access the two screws located at the sides of the corresponding light: these screws must be loosened and completely removed so that the light can be pulled out from its housing. This will allow you to disconnect the connector attached to the light unit, removing it completely from its seat and connecting the new light. This should then be secured in its housing with the appropriate screws removed earlier.
