Subaru Forester - Video tutorial

Model: Subaru Forester SG, MK 2 - Years 2002-2008
Part: Tail light
Operation: How do you remove the rear headlight of the Subaru Forester?

In order to remove the rear light of the Subaru Forester, you need to open the rear door of the car so that you can locate the two screws on the sides of the corresponding light. These two screws should be loosened and completely removed so that the light can be pulled out from inside its housing. This way, you will be able to disconnect the connector attached to the optical group, completely removing it from its socket and connecting the new light. It should then be secured to its housing with the appropriate screws that were previously removed.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
