How to Replace the Door Panel on a Subaru Forester

Remove the covers of the screws located behind the handle and in the small storage compartment of the armrest. Then, remove the screws that are fastened.

Using a flathead screwdriver, lift the metal part of the armrest, and after removing it, disconnect the window control plug. Now, remove the two screws located at the back of the armrest, also take out the light illuminating the lower part of the door and disconnect the plug.

You should now be able to extract the panel using a plastic lever. Disconnect the last plugs and wires at the back.
