To replace the timing chain on a Suzuki SX-4, open the bonnet to access the left side of the engine block: here, you will need to loosen the screws securing the tensioner so that it can be removed from its housing. By also loosening the screws securing the right front wheel, you can detach it along with the corresponding wheel arch liner: this way, the old chain can be removed and replaced with a new spare part, reassembling all the components that were removed earlier.
