Replacing the Alternator on a Suzuki Grand Vitara

Let's see how to remove the alternator from a Grand Vitara. Lift the bonnet and secure it, locate the battery, and disconnect the terminals. Find the alternator in the engine bay, unscrew the bolts using a socket spanner, being careful not to damage the wiring harness, and remove all the securing bolts of the alternator. Once disassembled, pull out the damaged part. Take the new replacement part and fit it into the appropriate housing, screw in the securing bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Reconnect the battery terminals to check its operation.
