How to Replace the Engine Oil and Oil Filter on a Suzuki Swift

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the engine oil and filter on a Suzuki Swift: The first step is to lift the car with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands underneath. Next, lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop. (You can use 10W-40 engine oil when the weather is not cold; if it is cold, you can use 5W-30). Place an absorbent cloth under the car to protect against any splashes; position the oil drain pan under the oil sump; unscrew the oil filler cap with a 17 mm spanner and wait for all the oil to drain into the pan (unscrew the oil filler cap to allow the oil to drain faster); then proceed to screw the cap back on and replace the oil filter with the new one. Top up the engine oil (4 litres) using a funnel.
