How do you replace the mirror cap of the Tesla Model 3 rearview mirror?

It will be possible to replace the mirror cap of the Tesla Model 3 by levering with an object to detach the hooks located at the bottom of the cap: once these hooks have been released, it will be possible to proceed by completely removing the cap from its housing in order to position the new one. This can now be fixed in place by reattaching the internal pins; after installation, it will be necessary to verify that the piece is secure and does not come off during driving.
