The Model X is the electric model that Tesla produced as a crossover with the aerodynamic characteristics of a coupe. This car features an extremely sleek body and very spacious interiors that can accommodate up to seven passengers. It has remarkable performance, for example, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds thanks to a motor with a power of about 460 horsepower and, especially, to a torque of nearly 738 lb-ft, available immediately. In addition to performance, it has cutting-edge technological solutions. The door opens automatically when approaching the car and closes when you press the brake pedal. The motor starts, and you just need to shift the gear lever to D to start driving. The rear doors are gullwing. It also has very spacious trunks and a large front windshield. Inside, there is a super tablet that encompasses the entire onboard computer that controls every single function of the car. The software is upgradable and, along with other accessories, could, in the future, enhance driving assistance up to, theoretically, automated driving. It has a declared range between 259 and 318 miles, and charging can be done at the numerous stations available in the US, but, of course, also at home. Charging times are about half an hour for a range between 81 and 168 miles, depending on the power of the charger. The cost varies, based on the version and options, between $105,000 and $170,000.
