In this video, you will see how to adjust the handbrake on a Toyota Corolla Verso: first, remove the two bolts located under the mat of the central console's glove compartment. This will allow you to lift this part of the plastic body just enough to access the handbrake adjustment screws; it will not be necessary to remove it completely, just keep it lifted to reach the screw that is a bit further inside.

From there, you can adjust the handbrake, which, to be properly adjusted, should not lift more than two or three notches when fully pulled.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?
